Oops, You Did it Again

You promised yourself that you wouldn’t fall for another loser but it seems it has happened again.  Perhaps, in the past, you have had a history of dating those that were too needy, or broke or always had some kind of problem in their life.  Now that you made the decision not to fall for another person like that, you may have inadvertently been either deceived or deceived yourself into thinking that you had made the right choice.

This may mean that you are going to have to break up to keep true to your new creed.  That’s where the it’s me not you speech usually comes in, but this time you know it is a little different.  While you know that they didn’t necessarily do anything to harm you, that in fact, it was a bad mistake on your own part, you may feel that you need to be more delicate.

If that is the case, then you can simply tell them that you have decided to stay single and continue looking for someone that you are better matched with.  Do try to be easy on them, if they persist in knowing the true answer, continue to let them know that it is a decision that you have made.  Hopefully, they will respect your decision and move on easily.
