Choosing Online Date for Money

There is a very fine line between prostitution and using online dating to meet people for their money.  It’s a sad fact of life but there are people out there that will use online dating to meet someone that has money, let them spend that money and then leave them without as much as a phone call.  If you happen to run into one of these people don’t feel bad.  It happens all the time because the world is filled with all kinds of people, even giant jerks.

A good indicator that someone is after your money is that the conversation keeps going back to your profession, your possessions or how much you make.  If that is the case, then keep moving on, unless you don’t mind spending the money to find out that is all they were after.  Some people go the step further and will sleep around for the money.  They will have a long list of people they are dating and sleeping with specifically for their money.  This is where the fine line comes in.  If you don’t mind their lifestyle and you can put up with it, as in, you aren’t jealous and aren’t afraid of diseases, then go for it.

There are some online dating services where you can immediately get naughty.  By naughty, it is of course meant as, flirting or sex chat.  Not all online dating sites are like that, but some of them you should definitely expect to get chatted up in a sexy way by members.  It will be obvious which sites are like that because it will mention it on the website.  Any website that mentions that it is adults only, means that it is a dating site that is for hooking up, anyway and with anyone.

If that is your kind of thing, then you should be glad to know that there are a lot of sites that cater to this crowd.  These dating sites are specifically made for those looking for random hook ups with random strangers.  If you are on a more mainstream online dating website, then you should know that you should probably not expect to get or expect to do sex chat with the members.  It might lead to that eventually, but unlike an adult online dating site, a mainstream one might not be a great place to start off with overtly sexual comments.

Finding someone online isn’t that difficult if you know exactly what to do.  Beyond making your profile and making it great, there are a few other things that you can try to get that special person to notice you and hopefully go on a date with you.  Finding them is easy, getting them to go out with you is a little more difficult, but definitely not impossible.  Try these tips to get moving in the right direction.

1. Meet in a public place.  This is just a safety thing, and also makes it easier if things don’t go exactly how you want them.   Meet at a restaurant or coffee shop the first time and see how it goes before moving on to more intimate locations.
2. Make a list of conversation topics ahead of time.  Memorize some of the things on it.  This will ensure that you have plenty to talk about, even if the conversation is at a lull.
3. Funny stories and experiences are a great way to make each other laugh.  Even if it’s something that you may have found embarrassing, if you can laugh about it, share it.
4. If you are enjoying yourself, ask about calling to see each other again.  It is definitely okay to let the other person know that you enjoyed yourself; hopefully the feeling will be mutual.
5. Have a bailout plan.  Just in case things are going very badly, have an escape plan ready.  Don’t be afraid to be honest; they may very well agree with you!

Once you have found that special someone on the online dating website, how do you make the move to get to meet them outside of the online environment?  It really all depends upon the kind of connection you have made with this person.  So, adding these tips to your arsenal really increases your chances of finding that someone and having a fantastic date.

1. Be prepared.  This means that you are ready for it to go well, as well as badly, and anywhere in between.
2. Get dressed.  Make sure you have a nice outfit picked out that is appropriate for the activities that are planned.  If you’re comfortable you’ll have more fun.
3. There are plenty of fish in the sea; we know you’ve heard this a million times, but it’s true.  If this date doesn’t work out, there are plenty of other people to meet.
4. Share talk time.  The other person is just as interested in what you have to say as you are them.  Make sure you don’t hog all of the conversation, and let’s hope they’ll do the same.

Lighten the mood with a few well-placed jokes or funny stories.  Your sense of humor is sure to be appreciated.

What Not to Do When Online Dating

There are a lot of things that can be said about what to do when online dating, but very few people will tell you exactly what not to do.  There are some terribly mistakes that can be made when you are dating online.  The key is to watch out for them and completely avoiding them.

Don’t bother to look at profiles that haven’t added a photo.  A lot of these are made by people that are not very serious about online dating and have just made a profile to be a tourist.  Don’t bother with them at all because they could also be a scam.  People that do not put a photo up are either way too shy, a scammer or a tourist so save your time and move on.

The profiles that have very little info on them are about the same as the aforementioned.  These people are probably not really interested in finding someone.  So once again, keep moving on.

Getting a strange message from some random person that sounds like a canned question should be ignored.  Generic messages can often be from someone that is simply spamming different profiles just to see if they can get a response.  The people you want to talk to are the ones that can form a personal question with more than three words.
