When Your Date is a Liar

Dealing with a date that is obviously lying is pretty simple.  You can either go with the lies, be entertained with it or you can walk out.  What kind of lies would warrant you walking out?  Well if they say they are single and obviously have a wedding band either on or a tan line then you might want to walk out.

Pretty much any deception that you are subjected to would be grounds to walk out on the date.  It simply means that they will continue to lie if you were to go any further.  Also, the fact that they are not very good at lying also means that they don’t even have enough respect for you to cover up their lies successfully or with any thought to your intelligence.

Dealing with a liar is far worse once you have gotten passed the first date.  If you have started to develop feelings for the person and then discover their deceptive ways, you could really get hurt.  Unfortunately, you may need to swallow your feelings and make the right choice.  If they feel they can get away with lying and disregarding your feelings then they are not worth your time.

Liars are the worst people to date.   Keep an eye out and protect your feelings from these types of people.  Especially those that are of the compulsive variety.  Nothing they say is true.

Modern Singles Have it Better

Singles nowadays have it much better as far as dating options goes.  The internet has opened up the dating world to so many people and makes it so much easier to find someone that is compatible.  You can even check your progress or communicate with someone that you have met online using a smartphone.  You won’t ever have to miss a message because you didn’t want to be tied to a computer all night.  Technically, you could be on a date and planning another date with the other person on the phone… not that you would do that, you devil.

The advantage of an online dating site is being able to go through thousands of profiles and find the one that is attractive to you.  You don’t have to feel bad about it because they don’t know that you visited their profile on most sites.  Check into the site settings for your particular online dating service.  There are some that openly let other members know that you have visited their site.

Online dating is a really great way for busy people to still find time for love.  With long hours and tough work schedules, it can be difficult, but online dating has changed that.  You can start a conversation with a potential date in the morning, make plans in the afternoon and meet at dinner.  It’s fantastic and so much better than before the internet.
